We're easy to find at the heart of North Wales
Bodelwyddan Castle and Park is easy to find. We're near St Asaph in the Vale of Clwyd, just off the A55 Expressway that crosses North Wales and links to the UK motorway network. You can reach us by car in about 40 minutes from Chester, an hour from Liverpool and not much more than that from Manchester.
Leave the A55 at Junction 25 and follow the brown visitor signs. Use the beautiful marble spire of Bodelwyddan Church as a landmark - you can't miss it!
Satellite navigation drivers should use the postcode LL18 5YA.
The nearest railway station is at Rhyl on the main North Wales line, with direct services to Holyhead and London Euston, as well as Manchester. Many more towns and cities can be reached by changing services at Chester or Crewe. For rail information visit National Rail.
Buses serve Bodelwyddan village from Rhyl. The best is Number 51 from Rhyl Bus Station which runs every 30 minutes during peak hours. Visit Arriva Bus for more information.
Bodelwyddan Castle & Park is run by a charitable trust. The historic house and grounds, maintained and operated by the trust to the benefit of the public, are not part of the hotel that shares our name. The hotel is not open to attraction visitors.

Bodelwyddan Castle is haunted! Dark shadowy figures have been seen throughout the castle, walking the corridors, disappearing through walls, and seemingly following guests. Paranormal investigation groups regularly hold activities here.
