 Ghost Walk, 6-8pm, Adults: £10, Children (8-18): £6.

Booking is Essential.

Discover the castle after dark on a guided  tour around the historic rooms. Step back in time and hear of the characters and events that shaped the history of the house and estate for over 500 years, and genuine accounts of the spooky goings on that have been reported over the years. Your evening will end with a visit to the castle cellars and area usually locked off to the public! Here you are welcome to take part in a mini ghost hunt led by our paranormal team members (this part is optional). Light refreshments served, and families with children are welcome to relax and talk with our paranormal assistants in this area whilst the mini ghost hunt is going ahead.

Private ghost walks are available for groups of 10-24, on any available weekend date, ideal for an alternative team building session or to celebrate a special occassion with a difference.

 Public Ghost Walks 2015:
 January 24th, February 18th (extra half-term date) February 21st , March 13th, April 1st & 8th (extra half-term dates) April 25th, May 23rd , May 27th (extra half-term date), June 27th, July 25th, August 12th (extra half-term date), August 22nd, August 26th (extra half-term date), September 19th, (Halloween Ghost Walks and Twilight Tours TBC), November 21st, December 12th.
 
Ghost Hunt, 9pm-3am, Adults (18+): £40.

Booking Essential.

The evening will begin with a guided tour led by our paranormal team members, were you will hear of the characters and events that shaped the history of the estate for over 500 years. You will also hear accounts of genuine paranromal occurances experienced over the years. This will also give you a chance to familiarise yourself with the Castle before the lights go out.  Areas to investigate include the; Entrance Hall, Watts Hall, Billiard Room, Dining Room, Library, Ladies Drawing Room, Staircase Hall, Victorian Bedroom, Toys and Games Room and finally the cellar. You will also have a demontration and  use of ghost hunting equipment such as dowsing rods, crystal pendulums, glass divination, emf meters, motion sensors and table tilting whilst investigating. Light refreshments are also included throughout the night.
Ghost Hunts can be booked and tailored for private/ third party groups of 8-24 participants, or you can book onto one of our public events. Contact the Bookings and Information Team for more information and to make a booking.

Victorian Séance, 9pm-2am, Adults: £45 (18+).

Booking Essential.

The Victorians were preoccupied by the paranormal and many ghost-hunting methods used today originated in the Victorian séance. Experience the Victorians’ fascination with the paranormal in this period-themed event. The night includes a castle tour with history and you will hear of real paranormal occurences. You will also have the chance to try Victorian techniques, including glass divination and table tipping. Victorian fancy dress is welcome and in the past if done as a group is an ideal way to set the scene! A Victorian high tea served at midnight is also included. Victorian Séances can be booked for private groups of 8-16, or you can book onto one of our public events.
